Morning Distractions

Good morning! This weekend was wonderful for me; saw The Godfather on the big screen, spent a good deal of time with some favorite friends, and played Sesame Street Chutes and Ladders over a few bottles of wine with said friends. But now to the interesting stuff:

There’s a trailer out for Gigantic, a new movie starring Paul Dano (Little Miss Sunshine, There Will Be Blood), John Goodman (The Big Lebowski), and Zooey Deschanel (every hip movie ever). The trailer gives a feel for the movie but doesn’t delve into the full plot. Can’t tell if I’m interested or not, but the casting causes me to want to see it.

The Cooler has a review of the French Film The Class, which was nominated this year for an Oscar in best foreign.
